Looking into buying one.. I think I'm leaning towards the 1 ton passenger van. Are they all extended? Did ford finally moved the axle back?

Any complaints from any of you transit users?

Brand new they are over 40k, with 20,000 miles they are 20-25k.. That is a big haircut!!

The come in 3 heights and I believe 3 lengths.

We bought middle height and length.

Ours are too new to have any problems. I wasnt going to get the Eco boost. I didn't think we needed it but now I'm glad we did.
He does burnouts in the parking lot when no one is looking.

Who's got the highest miles with zero major problems on their transit?

I've seen plain ford and chevy vans with over 200k miles. Can a transit last that long trouble free?

Half price at 20k would make me think twice about buying new, although I've seen new Transits almost always having a 7k (or more) rebate attached, so the residual value may not be as bad as it looks.

We ran one for about a year and had no issues. I know that's not long enough to define durability, but a nice comfy truck with the only complaint being the narrow cab.

Give promaster a look

I see fed x and. USPS using them now

I got a longest and tallest for 35k out the door. At 2.9
And that semi loaded- 3 seats, back up cam, sensors, tough floor, the biggest side mirrors I have ever seen ,

Typically get better rates new - take into account unless u paying cash

medium roof 148 wheelbase.

ford has a super long version but its still the 148 wb with just more over hang.
I got the ecoboost as an owner operator.
If employees are driving it definitely get the 3.7 as its much too easy to get into the turbo boost zone :p

How do you like your PC Everest 650hp?!? Going from an Vortex/Areo Tech, to a van and slide in, what was your deciding factor?

Is that an everst 650 in there? How does it handle sitting on that custom tank? Any issues?
