I don't miss doing that.............


more the bent over cutting brick and tile patterns on in place in with a tuck point wheel on an angle grinder..or sandblasting borders....staining itself wasn't bad

and this is what I was talking about ....the cutting brick/tile patterns into in place concrete...... "brick"/tile border on these two buildings done by me with lm scofield faded teracotta and 30% solid sealer........cut with a 3/8 tuck point wheel on an angle grinder using 4" flat bar as a straight edge/guide

also did an overlay with crazy semco colors in the Plums ice cream shop upstairs

and Simon the owner of company backyard...all concrete ...acid stained....engraved...............the first concrete I ever poured/finished.................he had never done it either so he bought me a book at the home depot on how to pour concrete a week before the truck arrived :eekk:

to match my personal taste i'd consider adding a tint coat since the surface isn't going to react any more

or a tinted sealer (maybe even clear) if they have something that will survive the freeze/thaw you were describing

contact kemico/lm scofield and see what the suggest...

but it looks ok ...its growing on me :D
