Would any of you recent TM purchasers care to share who you financed with and what the rates and terms were? I may pull the ole trigger on a new Pro-1200 or CDS by the end of the year. TIA!

I would suggest financing the van and adding the equipment cost into the van's loan. When I bought my Cleanco in early 2014 I used the Costco auto program that got me in touch with a local Chevy dealerships fleet manager to get me a great no haggle price on a van. The fleet manager added into the van loan the cost of the truckmount. I believe my rate is 2.59%. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Everything was done over the phone and via email. When it was time to pick up the van it only took five minutes to sign the paper work and drive away.

A lot of it depends on what type of credit you have. If you have really good credit, it's common for us to see interest rates below 4% for both a truck mount and a new van. However, for guys without stellar credit, it'll sometimes go up to that 5% or 6% area.

One thing to also consider when looking at financing is whether the company you finance with is going to use you as a third-party guarantor or whether the credit is going to be attached to you personally. A company like Ally, who we use, makes you a third-party guarantor, which means that your personal information is nowhere on the loan, unless you don't pay on your loan. This gives you two advantages; the first is that it helps build your business credit and the second is that your personal credit doesn't take a hit.

If you'd like some more information on this, just let me know.

So many different variables there. Do you want to purchase or lease? That make a difference too.
Call interlink financial and see what they can do for your situation. Honestly, they made it real easy for me.

Made a lot more sense to pluck down the cash, if you can swing it.
I hate giving up cash if I can avoid it. I don't mind someone making money on me as long as it gives me the opportunity to make more money with the new equipment.

We lease most major purchases. I'll wiggle ever way I can to get the best deal for my needs. Not necessarily the best deal by accounting practices. If I can put down nothing and set a reasonable residual and a low payment, then I have what I need to make up for any added burden they hit me with to do so. :winky:

i think it also mattesr if you are doing vehicle and TM or just TM. I have good credit and as i understand it, got their "lowest" rate of 7.9 bc the only collaterial is the TM itself.

We just got zero for 72 from ford so i believe (unless i'm just a sucker) that wrapping the vehcile in gives you access to the lower rate.

commence "no you're just a sucker " replies now . . :)

No problem homie!

But seriosly your answer has been answered by the full array or different scenario of people.

If you don't have the cash then shop your loan around with a few banks don't settle with one just because some guy in the frozen north minasota says he's nice.

Also as many have stated already you will want to finance the machine on the truck loan if possible and use the lower rate of the vehicle financing over using machine financing at 7-15 percent.

Kip did the financing on my Cleanco/Ford too. Couldn't be easier. I think I'm at 5.9% but the setup was used. I'm pretty sure he could do better than that on a new setup.

No, I was actually making lite or making fun of it, because not everyone is able to pay cash, I was actually just being me, a smart ass.

Then when you called me out I took the time to consolidate everyone's post into a single post for you. That's all.

I hope I didn't ruin your day, but I will let you know it is raining here in Texas
