Well my truck is about to turn 100,000 miles. Who here has an older Vortex with over 100,000 miles. What major problems have you had? Mine has been good so far just trying to look in the future.

take good care of it and stay on top of the maintenance and you should get another 100.000 to 150.000 miles with no problems......

had to rebuild tranny on one of them at about the 170000 mile mark and had to rebuild a turbo at about 160000 mile mark on another one. the most i paid was for the tranny and that was 2400 for a complete rebuild with a three year unlimited mile gaurentee.

I don't know Mike. I have 96,000 miles on it and had it 66 months. That's about 17,000 miles a year. I don't think that's a lot for a truck that's out cleaning all day. The Chicago area is big and people move all over. I have wheels if there is cash I will drive to it.

I actually like a little drive time in between jobs. I charge enough to be profitable with some drive time.

I would be happy if I could get another 5 years out of it reliably then I would buy a new AT.
