UD vortex Overhead Cab Light Problem

Last month or so overhead cab lights/dash lights seem to have a mind of their own and come on when they good and feel like it! Only happens first time of the night. Anyone had this particular problem? Fuses fine, what else?

Tonight I thought I was going to have to turn around and get my backup unit.

Usually a bad ground wire in this scenario.

It is the selector switch, you have to remove acces cover, remove the selector assembly off of steering assembly, open up selector switch access cover and see what going on inside. On a couple of mine the contacts had just curled up a bit and I bent them down and straitended them out. Put cover back on and reinstalled. I can bring my dads $700 MultiMeter over and we can do some tests. !gotcha!
