Well going to be cleaning a house that has been empty for 4yrs, It has been winterized so no running water or electric, property manager guy said he will have power turned on but still no water said neighbor will let me get water from his garden hose, carpets are in bad shape so I plan on using my 175 with solution tank and carpet brush first to apply pre spray and scrub it good before running my portable Mytee LTD5, I'll use my mytee hot turbo heater when i run the portie but still need hot water to put in solution tank of the 175, sure wish I had a bucket heater, but no time to order and get it on time, looks like i'll have to put some big pots of water on the stove, LOL can't think of anything else to do

You could always do what they do in jail.... Take a cord cut the end exposing the wires and drop it in the bucket of water.... So I've been told......:eekk:

why dont you just get a open ended quick connect and run water threw your porty and mytee hot turbo and just fill your tank? you dont have to turn on all your heaters on your turbo, and you can use a shut off valve to limit the flow so it gets to the temp you want.

I've done that in the past. running the open connect lets a larger volume through, so the heater may not put out as hot.. I just circulated it back to the tank till it got really hot.

If you use a shut off valve you can limit the flow and get hotter water through your heater the first time through.

Well got thru that job ok, took longer then i would have liked due to the fact that i had to go to the house next door to get water from their garden hose and had to carry 5gal buckets back and forth, last time i do a job that has no running water thats for sure.

How far in-between was the houses? Next time just fill up the buckets with your van....

Just wait till you get the no power or water.... Those are the fun ones......
