Thank you for the question Lyman. The Seal-A-Doors are fastened to the frames with stainless steel "washered" screws. The frame could be interchangeable, but the concern I would have would be "weakening" of the screw hole, thus resulting in the lack of a secured attachement. We don't recomment "inter-changing", but it certainly is compatible.

Nice for nice days but when looking to keep the heat in or air conditioning, it's best to use the plastic version.

The cut out at the bottom needs some kind of cloth border to prevent runs in the screen.
