this is a first. I've never seen a sofa eaten by bugs. Dry wood termites wouldnt expose themselves like this and there was no frass. We don't get much wool furniture here only the third time ever. It cleaned beautifully same as the other 2 pieces. The wool area rug also had similar holes. The dead bugs that were there were to old and disentegrated to id, at least for me. The hidden areas were the worst but it was every where.

I had one where the termites came up threw the tile floor and into the leg off the sofa and then I found them between the cushions and the deck....

I've seen dry wood termite frass and the damage they do but never to the fabric. I've never seen subterrians in furniture just the baseboards. they ate the wool rug as well.
