How much do you guys charge for sofas, chairs, sectionals and so on? I received a email from the office with a customer looking to get a lot of furniture cleaned and the office feels I quoted to high and I felt it was spot on especially being the only person in my company with carpet and upholstery cleaning experience which is why i have the job i do but just wanna see if maybe my prices are to high.

I have not. I've taken the IICRC class for upholstery by Doug heiferman. I know my dad and brother charge more than I do for upholstery and I learned from them. I base it off size, fabric and if they want a full clean on the item or not.

I highly, highly recommend it and will have an opportunity for you to take the course with an extra added bonus coming up soon

If people want to pay less for uph cleaning look at cutting out areas to clean, backs, sides and often one side of the cushion just (might) need a dry vacuuming...

You want to charge enough for it to be as profitable hourly as your carpet cleaning. For a basic 3 seat sofa, I charge $120 plus $10 for each loose cushion other than the seat cushions. Average sectional is $200. Fine fabrics are 50% more. Protector is usually half the cleaning price. I usually make $150-200 per hour.
