Do you want to vac the most dry soil, or impress the custy with your choice of vac?

If the goal is to vac the most soil, the cheap Bissel Powforce baggless is hard to beat.
$49 bukz at Wal-mart

Empty the dust cup often
(like several times on a house with pets)
and blow out the filters with compressed air in the evening.

and it will out suck'em all.

and when it breaks, you'll never have more than a $49 dollar repair bill
(the price of a brand new one)

Lots of guys like the Sanitare/Eureka design.
But it won't gobble up "chunks" without fouling the brush belt often and doesn't have on board hose attachment

I'm cleaning up the Bissel today and putting it back in the game.

It has been whimpering down in the basement for some time now.

vac

The PV12 by Prochem. We've had two of them for about 12 years now and they still run as good as the day we bought them. They are completely re-buildable if anything breaks and they are easy to work on and clean. Two HEPA filters. Awesome vac for the money.

I have a couple of the sanitaire 5815. they are awesome vacs with attachments as well. Very powerful, but somewhat heavy. i am also thinking about getting an oreck commercial as sort of a light backup.

My daily vac is a Powr-Flite Iron side with dirt cup. That damn thing sounds like a rock crusher though.

I've got 3-4 of the Bissel vacs sitting around because my Dad can't stand to see anything get thrown away, LOL.

I've also got a Powr-Flite back pack vac. This thing is great for commercial work. I also use it on a regular basis on restoration jobs.

Probably gonna go back to the Bissels for the sake of noise polution.

Being that I am a wimp I like this vacuum

Have you had any durability issues?
What type bag does it use? (standard bag?)

I personally wouldn't want to use a vacuum that the customer would own so I guess impress the custy with choice of vac since there is only two options.

I really like the Pro-Team upright.

Bought one just for the house.

Dual motor system. One that runs the vac, one for the brush.

Works excellent!

Cost you about $450.00 which is a pretty good deal for a dual motor vac.

I have a 5 year old Lindhaus bagger. I tell you the lack of cleaning up is nice.

Ran into my first Bissel Powerforce today. It was on a move out, I was using my Ninga and never had my Lindhaus on board. Custy had a few items left at house including the Powerforce. Took me 20 minutes to clean the thing up. It had blockages in the hose, power head, and filters, whole machine was covered in dust.

Unit cleaned up like a gem and sucked like a banshee (I think banshees suck?).
