What product have you found to be most effective??

Why??

What is your normal procedure to eliminate urine, both the stain and the odor??

I am limited in what products are economically available down under, generally just the well known brands such as Bridgepooint, MasterBlend, Pro Chem, Sapphire, HydraMaster, etc;

I'd also like to know your preferences for the same in carpet, as per above.

Thanks in advance.

I try NOT to clean mattresses but when people insist I've already told them:
1: cleaning only cleans the outside material of the mattress. The padding if saturated with urine will still be saturated.
2: The stains most likely will not come out much at all.
Maybe there is ways to do the above but I'm aware of them. Like I said I try to not clean mattresses but once in a while the customer still wants me to do it. Usually charge $40-$50 to do the top and side. I extract with my portable like upholstery. 15 minutes tops.

So I guess my answer to your question is I haven't found anything that works.

Couldn't have said it better.

Always helps to have H2O2, some smells-good, and a antimicrobial product on hand.

In my limited experience, I have found that it is easier to obtain appearance improvements older style mattresses, as opposed to the newer fancy ones with integrated pillow tops and supplemental top cushion layers, which are a pain in the azz.

Ive used molecular modifier with success on mattresses. My own included. Soak the spot with enough to let gravity get to all the urine.
Of course they probably wont be able to sleep in it for a night or two.

Carpets I use osr for dog n people pee and save the MM for cat and other critters.

I do lots of matresses. most people are not looking for a smell removal but are looking for a yellow ring removal.
I prespray with BioBreak to break down and remove the yuck. Then I apply Stain magic? ,the one in the white label that removes organic, to remove the yellow ring.

Enzyme soak. Then extract with a waterclaw. Then oxy-brand color safe "bleach" for the stain.
Then a long, slow pull with superheated steam to finish. The steam accelerates everything else and flushes deeply with low moisture.

Dry or flip the mattress.

Wander home and see if there are any cold ones left in the coolerator.
