I'm still running a 96 dodge van, and its getting a bit ragged. Rust from scrapes made by a ladder rack, plus oil pressure issues, plus a lady crashed into me on the highway= time for a newer van. So I keep seeing Bawb talk about 02 chev vans with low miles @$4k... but where?

Thank you for your reply, and I'll have to try looking at craigslist more. I was thinking of less miles on the rig than that. Are there any public auctions I should check into? I was looking at one site that is called GSA fleet vehicle sales. Looked somewhat promising.

Iowa and Missouri are good states to get vans..
i ALWAYS buy from an individual.......
cuz dealerships give them squat on trade ins...so they sell it themsefs......PLUS they have the repairs bills to show WHATS been fixed!

if you buy from a car lot....
you getting something that was ready to fall apart...
and the owner took what he could..........get!

With a well taken care of/maintained van, how many miles is too many? I have been looking at 2004-06 vans with just under 100K in the $3-4000 price range. Seem to be in great shape with a complete history. Is reaching 200K miles reasonable without major repairs?
