Probably not. I bought my 2004 V for 72 had it for 3 years ran it like mad and sold it for 50k. I actually walked away with money in my pocket. Like any vehicle, the moment you drive it of the lot you've seen the biggest depreciation hit.

So true ! When I owned a lawn care company (during a similar boom/bust in the 1980's ) I actually sold 5 year old Bobcats for more then we originally paid. Then a few years latter reality came back into focus and used equipment was 25 cents on the dollar during the recession. Funny how history repeats itself.

There are so many used BIG trucks (of all makes) on the market right now that I wouldn't have one new truck mount of any size , on the floor if I was a distributor. Look for this to be the case for at least another six months, maybe longer.
