Using Releasit as a carpet protector, unethical?

This is an honest question. Is it appropriate to put down Releasit and tell the client it is protector?

Rick Gelinas, do you think it is right to put your product down as a protector?

I don't think Todd's integrity has ever been questioned. It's his penchant for acting like a giant inflatable phallus that causes people consternation.

I'm not Rick, but I've seen him address this before. There is not sufficient flourochemical left in the carpet after cleaning to claim you have simultaneously applied protector to the carpet. I think making such a claim is at best misinformed and at worst duplicitous.

I'll bet Ricky doesn't bet on his Daughter's life that Releasit does anything other then loosen soil.
