Vacuum gauge stuck

Why do vac gauges get stuck sometimes?

Mine will read 7 to 8 even with the TM off, but it will reset to 0 by the next morning.

Is it time for a new gauge?

Look on the back of the gauge for a tiny rubber "cap"..

Very gentle like, pull it out a little bit with your fingernails to bUrp! the gauge...

Yea been there and done that.

Why is it doing this all the sudden?

I like smacking things.

But this is a delicate art and your at your own risk when doing it

Somethings a hand slap works, others the biggest friggin hammer you can handle .

Either way your likely going to end up replacing it , so whack away
