I want to take the Ametek 122176-18, and stick it on top of the waste tank of my 94 butler (Blower spins at a max of 2100 RPM producing 175CFM)

Will this Vac motor (11"HG) be fighting against the 15" HG of the blower?
Or should I put two in series (for 17"HG) so they are not fighting the lift of the blower?

I figured I could spend 500+ on new pulleys and belts and try to get an extra 100CFM out of the blower, or use these super vac motors I have laying around and make it a Franken Butler.

so you're going to put 2 electric vac motors on top of your recovery tank to help boost the vacuum generated by your blower?
I think you'd be better going all 2.5" hose with a 50ft 2" whip

Already did that, actually only 15 foot whip of 2 inch. :errf:

This things just not much better than a bane at the moment.

well, you can play with it. You'll have a couple holes in your vac tank that are easy to cap if it doesn't work. Be more concerned that the blower won't do something to bugger your vac motors. It may suck the air through them like a vac relief.
