So this morning 8:00 am. I pulled out and got behind this mini van, as we both came up to light, we were both making a right hander to head up to Redding I noticed his side slider door was not fully closed.
So we make the turn and I notice his driving is a little off....I just figured it was cause he noticed the side door wasn't closed, over the white line and back a few times, then one way over in the gravel...so I backed off a bit and proceeded to dial 911.
Well he didn't make it far and he shoots off the road and into a group of smaller trees and brush. ( crazy how TREES for some crazy reason always get hit)
So I pull up just in front of where he crashed and was going to check on him....before I could get it into park he was out of van and coming up beside me on passenger side....He was reaching into his jacket (55-60 year old dude) so he is not bleeding out and appears to be fine so I slowly start to let van roll forward and he grabs a hold on my passenger side mirror and yells let me in your van....O hell NO I give it some gas and he hangs on and ooooppps goodbye he fell down, gets up runs across the road and stops some other car and speeds off, I told dispatch what just happened but haven't heard anymore, I was in a part off the road that had no turn around and by the time I did I could not find the car that he got into....I hope nothing bad happened waiting to hear the news about it

I always disliked how my vehicles lock the door automatically when moving, hey if I want 'em locked I'll lock 'em myself. Maybe not such a bad idea after all.

Glad you weren't hurt.

Just put it in drive while someone's door is open.... Then it won't automatically lock after you start going......;)
