Thinking about looking at a new van... Like the vans with no windows on the side but in the back. What's everyone's opinion on that?? Could I cover the side windows and back with something or tint the side and back windows. Opinions please
Thanks

You don't need rear windows for backing up. If you can't do it with the mirrors then get a backup camera.

A side door window is helpful to me when I'm at an intersection with an angle, but I've never had a van without a side window so I'm sure there are ways to cope without one.

Ford makes steel panels that will fit into the side windows, even if you buy a window van, that can be painted to match the van. You cannot tell it is a window van unless you stop and study the lines where the windows are.

I recently saw a van with a similar setup, but the panels had hinges and they could be opened all the way to access whatever was inside the van, I assumed it was a custom job, I wasn't aware the panels could be ordered. Good info!

I used to use Chevy Astro panel vans with no side windows to look out. You just need to make sure your mirrors are adjusted correctly and learn to use them. My employees all had no problem driving around town with them.

No accidents Barry?

I think it would cause problems when switching lanes or occasionally when pulling out into traffic an not being able to look fully to the right.
We always order them with side windows, when we buy used and they don't have them we have the glass shop cut the panel out and install windows.

since my new van has windows im getting the internal window cages to keep people from breaking the window and stealing shit. My Ford van already had them installed when i got it. and a steel wall behind each of the front seats so if something happened you don't get hit with a tool.
