I clean a chain of about 8 dental offices. I cleaned the carpet regularly, I have also cleaned the tile bathrooms and entryways and the upholstery.

They called me about cleaning 8 exam rooms in one of the offices that are VCT Tile. I have never done VCT tile before and don't know if it worth it to learn.

I don't want to screw it up and damage the relationship. I am also not a big of bringing a cleaner I don't know into my account.

How would you handle this?

Not a great place to learn.

Open areas are a lot better for first timers to become proficient.

You'll probably have a significant amount of hands and knees edging and scraping around exam chairs, counters and floor outlets.

Going from room to room can be messy too if you are inexperienced.

Excessive finish buildup can be a real problem in confined spaces as well

You have a local Jan San outfit that you can recommend ?

If they just want it cleaned just get some no rinse floor cleaner, scrub with a 175 and red pad , scrub with a pad on a pole for the hard to get areas and suck up the slurry. Damp mop afterward and that's it.
