Two men and a truck franchise. I never knew the history, nor did I know how big it got

It’s amazing how it started with just a stick figure logo and only $350capital investment.

I loved this quote they said below about the positive of their business.

“Customers benefit from having trained, uniformed movers who are insured and bonded to handle any home and business moving tasks.”

For such a simple company, I think the startup franchise cost is on the steep side, but just how the business started from the ground up is what I liked reading. I was hoping they’d put what their hardships were in the first several years and how they accomplished those

I got a quote from them when we moved .
You can't get a "quote", only an estimate .
Actual cost is based on time

the kicker for me, you have to sign a damage waiver that limits their payout to stupid cheap.
I asked what happens if the truck wrecks or catches fire.
after talking to his supervisor, the answer in short was,

"tough patootty"

Having turned up a couple of times to clean carpet an hour after the removal company was going to be finished.
And watch them drag furniture out with zero concern for it or the walls, I know locally who I'd never use

Not me. When I moved 3 yrs ago, after being in the same house for 30 yrs., I moved what I wanted protected the most, and hired someone I thought met my needs. Price wasn’t an object, but of course it was relative. It went smooth as silk.
