This is the most hair i've ever seen using a CRB. i even pre-vacuumed the carpet. What's worse is i stripped the gears on this job now my CRB is down until replacement parts arrive. :-(

What's funny is it was Berber carpet and i didn't notice any pet hair at all when vacuuming. Then, 10 minutes into scrubbing fur balls start flying everywhere.

the best place to order gears from is whitaker. they are not stocked at interlink and they took forever. yes they are plastic gears but usually last a very long time. the bearings go out on us the most but its a cheap easy fix

Ricks and Interlinks are not the same machine but are made by the same manufacturer.

Ricks machines by the looks of the pictures are the time tested tm-4 tm-5 series machine just like the Whittaker machines that last forever.

Interlink sells the newer version of the Austrian crb that is supposed to be splash proof and sit much lower to the carpet while having a larger spacing between the two brushes.
