"No load" CFM is only part of the equation.
Static pressure and flow control make all the difference in the world.
CFM is useless if the flow isn't directed properly. Many "squirt" the air out in a wedge shape, losing so much of the CFM to the room, rather than to the carpet face. A directed flow, such as is the case with the Airpath helps keep the air in a laminar sheet much better. Higher Static Pressure makes for more "usable" CFM in that the obstruction of the floor, and the sharp 90 degree flow change will result in the air sheet reaching further, with more force.
