Sorry Guys,

Something was sent out @6:15 this morning that has a link that is a suspected viris

I didn't send it out.

I don't know how some spammer got my addresses.

I suspect it was an unscrupulous carpet cleaner with some insider knowlegde.

I changed my E-mail password. Does anybody else have any other tips to avoid this crap!

I've had issues with my hotmail account for a few months now. I finally deleted all my contacts and all emails, and cancelled it. I apologize to anyone that may have gotten an email with a link.

You really should have your email attached to your website's domain name.
Hotmail, Gmail, Fmail

No good.

There is a HIJACKER going around that essentially turns your PC into a server for the operator of the scheme. They then periodically send emails with links pitching Viagra from offshore, porn, online gambling, pay to play sweepstakes scams etc.
You don't even have to down load or open anything, the virus is hidden in the text of a spam message. Even if you junk filter gets it, the package can still activate itself. It's a big pain to deal with.

Many anti-virus scans will not catch it as its pretty sophisticated. Avira's free anti-virus package will nail it, Norton won't come close. You might want to consider downloading Avira, super Anti-spyware & C CLEANER (all free). Make sure you have all your passwords written down as C cleaner will clear them, but it will also get rid of allot of problem software that these jerks load onto your computer. Best of luck.

Don't use Yahoo as a mail server for a business... Get your own domain and set up your own mail accounts.
