New company starting in the Twin Cities.

They ordered 4 brand new Butlers in Extended Vans....

The business manager in holding hose has been on the phone with one of the owners most of yesterday telling him they need to order more stuff! (Zippers, CRB's, Rotovac's....)

The name of the new company is "Twin Cities Finest"

They are going all high end and going to offer full service quality cleaning....

They are hiring too I am told....

But, they are serious about this....so we have had them everywhere with us yesterday and the next couple days.....

So in these pics and videos... I made sure to take them to "Trashed Trailer House Carpet" :)

4 Butlers...that is a big start up investment. Smart to learn from the best in their area. Hopefully they will be on the board so we can track their progress.

Sounds like they must have a half mil to fund this en devour.

So they want the high end share of the pie, eh? Do rich people respond to advertising in Minnetonka?

Do they have any history in this industry?

Sounds fascinating Mark. Get them to Nashville and they may want to sit in on Wednesday's FPA Webinar..

Some do, Some don't. It all depends on exactly where your money came from. If they have "old" money, they tend to travel in tight circles and "image" is the most important so they will hire who their friends hire. If they have "new" money, they tend to act like most consumers and find someone they really like and stick with them.

My bias..

Tell the kid to wear pants, a uniform shirt and tuck it in. Wear dark socks. Lose the hat indoors. Add an ID badge.

I get that he is learning, but good habits start early. Bad ones do too.

Especially at the high end where Mrs. Custy is watching, his appearance will matter a LOT.

Dadgum generous of you to train!

If Mark is having them work his schedule...up at 5 am, work all day, get the vans ready for the night work, night work until midnight or past... Mark smiling and laughing...explaining how much he loves his work, Butler Hot Van and Zipper tools, videoing awesome Saiger Sauce experiments... these guys are going to be so happy to get back home no matter how much they paid :-)

Well, Day two...and they survived and also told one of the owners "You need to get up here and see this!"

So him and his wife came up last night.....

And this is the two guys impression of the equipment and especially the Zipper Wands....

And yes....I think I need to start a "Saiger's Steam Clean Zipper Wand Camp"

We are using every tool we can...

One of the Owners is going to be out with us today.

They are also looking for more good techs right now...this is not going to be a cheap company and they are willing to pay well and treat their people well....

If interested, give me a shout so I can get you in contact with them.

Uniforms, and badges and all the routine will definitely be in play, but as you see, some of this video was done in empties, or where we knew no one was home....

But in the meantime...this is their honest impression of the Zipper....

And I am going to be out the door in 30 minutes, so I need to roll again.....

4 hours of sleep for me last night!

I just did 6 hours straight on the wand today on a strata property. 4 floors, 3 staircases. I had a helper today that made things go a lot easier. She's going to help me again tomorrow on a 10 story building. My right side hip flexor is aching because of the repetitive movement. I am always stepping back with my right leg and can feel the muscles work all the way up. I think the Zipper would work excellent in these long hallways and will take less effort. We were using an apo today, so it wouldn't make any difference in how much cleaning solution we used.

I'm surprised you haven't purchased a zipper yet with that kind of work. I thought you already had one

It's on my list but right now I am spending money on refurbishing another tm. I am undecided yet as to buy a Zipper first or a rotovac. I am leaning more to the 7ipper and I may pull the trigger pretty soon. I have 2 more really large bldgs coming up and I am dreading doing them with the wand

I haven't used either on a job, but if it were me, I'd definitely buy a Zipper. So feel free to use my inaccurate advice to help you choose. You can blame me if you should've got the other
