Vortex - Aerotech guys w/ 2.5 inch plumbing

What do you use to cap off your suction line on the side of the truck? I'm currently using a furniture slider but I want to have a rubber boot that fits over the 2.5 inch openings. Any ideas?

Greenie use to sell some nice fancy plugs for 2.5 Vac ports.

Fernco (plumbing supply) offers a rubber cap but its a tight fit

I got mine at the local plumbing store here in town.......I tossed just about everything in the back of the truck when I sold it....But come to find out I need a 2.5 for this machine I have now.....If you cant find one....just PM me sometime next week and when I stop off to pick up another one I will grab one for you......


another thing that works really good are expansion plugs...you will need to know the inside diameter and then just call this place and they will hook you up with the best fit.....

Just follow the instructions for sizing on their web pages. You will want the Turn Tight type. These are what I use and what Greenie had originally sent me.

RV supply places have plugs similar to this.

I've always got 2" expansion plugs with wing nuts in the plumbing section of Lowes. They have bigger sizes too.
