Vortex solution lines plugged up

Did you ever get your solution line reels fixed....or are they still plugged up.....

I scraped the bulk of the corrosion out of it and put if off for another day.

you can get a hold of eagle reels..I heard threw the carpet cleaning grape vine that they have a stainless steel replacement kit for those .(?).or just replace your reel and go with a high pressure hose fed swivel....

The swivel on my main reel is starting to leak. Is there a gasket kit to rebuild it, or do I have to replace the whole swivel?

there are rebuild kits for them.....Mike rebuilds his.....does yours have a grease fitting on it..when mine leaks I just give it a shot of grease....

You guys sure have a great deal of "nick picky" problems with those machines.

Is it construction related or piss poor parts to begin with?

the construction is great.......there are a few things that could of been thought out better but just about all machines are that way.....They did use some bad materials that should of never been put on the machine..

Speaking of reels, I put a Cox Reel in the V. They powdercoated the inner female fitting for the live hookup.

What should I put on it to remove the crap in there?

There is a rubber O ring in the swivel that the heat and action eats up about every year and a half.

brad just get a tap and re-run the threads. should clean it out great. you can get the tap for a few bucks at ace hardware
