Wand Jets Clogged

Today when I got to the job and fired everything up all was well..
But once I started using the wand I realized the jet on the left was clogged and shooting the water in stutters...

What is it that can be done.. I still have the same ol' AW29 with 2 jets...

Clean the ones you have. If its a 2 jet wand they might be in under the jet. If they are scaled then soak in some descaler the blow off with air. Also should be a screen in the fresh water tank on the bottom .

oh well ill try soaking them in some descaler...
but are those the correct filters at the above link in my earlier post...

they're cheaper at the farm supply store, Lester
They're 4 for $15 here w/check valve last I bought any

unscrew the brass nut, then take the tee-jet off, (it will probably come off in the nut anyway) now you're looking at the end of the strainer on the wand
you may need to "gentlely" pry it out.
cause It's likely packed with crud/scale

spray it off and inspect it.
If the screen is blown thru the body the tiniest bit, it's junk.
if all is in good order, you can reuse it

oh...DON'T use a needle to poke the brass tee jets.
You'll ruin them

You should install a filter on your wand just before the quick connect. That you can take out and clean easily- instead of messing with the jets all the time.

Descaling the whole system could help too...

zee nailed it........filter your water at the quick connect before it gets down to the jets.....

also filter your water coming into your machine....

Best advice; Take off jet; look at screen; if it looks like a top hat; no; call jon don with 2 screens in hand; describe them to sales rep; he/she will fix ya up.

Lester, I got a set of that set Larry is showing (slightly used)- I don't need them..
If you show up at MF I'll give it to you. If I remember correctly they are 110 03 size jets.

mine used to clog all the time, though it took a month at a time. Start noticing because the spray pattern and flow just wasn't the same.
Always keep your fresh water tank as clean as possible,
a filter before the wand and before the cleaning unit will help to
pop out the screens, clean them, reinstall and go for it.

surely not, cause he would of (probably should of) sold you new jets too

want to have near zero probs with crud in the strainers and jets from now on?
Do this then;
plug a QD in the end of your solution line.
open the ball valve and stick the solution in the vac hose.
go start up the TM and turn on the pump.

By the time you walk back into the house, the TM and solution line will be flushed.

98.3% of the crud your strainers catch comes in the first 2 minutes, 37 seconds of start up flow...

i bought new caps because one of them was cracked and the other was showing it wanted to crack... the salesman suggested as long as i could see through the jets they are fine... so i took his word...

I use a WhiteMagic 1600 and havent descaled it...

oh brother....

did you get them at a farm supply store?
if so, those dudes don't know anything about jets being used on CCing wands.

They sell 'em to farmers for their ag sprayers.
Optimum flow isn't near as important when spraying ag chems.
'specially when the jets are on booms 10-20 foot long and bouncing up and down as the tractor rolls through a field.

if a carpet cleaning supplier told you that, tell him I said he's a DUMBAZZ and don't know sheet

I am calling BULLSHIT! An ag supply would have been iffy, but possible. A industry rep NOT trying to make the up sell on a no brainer. Bull shit.
