Don't know how handy you are at cutting and grinding metal, but I used a dremel and 4.5" angle grinder to notch our Ti, Jim.
I laid the
glide end next to the wand, and scribed the profile for the notch.
Then went to cutting and test fitting, then grinding and fitting til i got it just right.
You also have to take a bit of the inside lip protrusion off the wand too. (on the Ti) don't know about the other
Or it will shave teflon when sliding the glide on and off
yes, only one side needs notched.
It allows you to slide it off and on to facilitate easy cleaning and change from one type glide to another.
