Now that I carry three full time, I would like a hanger of sorts that attaches to the ceiling of the Transit
Is there any existing system that you like?

any ideas that you want to see fabricated?

These from HydraMaster look like they would hold a wand well but how would you mount it to the ceiling?

Make sure they are really, really, really secure Mike.

wands flying forward in an accident have killed people.
I would go a little bit further and recommend nothing be mounted to the ceiling without a safety cage.
I had a young lady blow a stop sign and I t-boned her right behind her drivers door totaling her car. I had shelving come loose along with an upholstery cleaning machine fly into the back of my seat. Had I had items roof mounted who knows what would have happened.
I did get a new upholstery machine out of the deal.

Great post first of all .In my case I uses eye hooks drilled in securely. Then uses the rubber incased wire ties(similar to Bread Ties ).once wrapped well. Never a problem .Contemplated magnet holders but never went that far ? The magnets would have held a box that was never fabricated with a door that opened an held wand safely inside. Would have been obviously very strong magnets to hold the weight .Most likely all along the roof of the box itself .But as others said watch for serious collisions. I believe my wire ties would have held up if correctly secured .Another issue was as in the case of butler trucks .The roof mounted groomer holders .Mine were removed and a metal tube was put up .Then groomer slid inside and was held from moving with above wire tie .Nite eyez made the ties originally .But amazon or harbor freight or Walmart carry generic versions . All bungees were discarded around 2014 or so. Never trusted bungees. Lots of stories and one happened to a female employee of ours. She unhooked it ,it hit her on the breast. An in front of the client she took her shirt and bra off to inspect damages. She was well endowed and client and myself enjoyed the view. though did not appreciate the welt ...lol

I got the Shelves on both sides with some basic hanging, actually custom welded aluminum in my old Thermalwave. But I use a bungee cords bigtime to make it all stay where it should. I hang Upholstery tools with bungee straight to the van frame like a match made in heaven.

Just line the wands up against the front of your chem shelves. Head on the floor, tube clipped into these bolted to the top shelf.
