wand up grade question

when you purchase an upgrade wand ie: 1.5 to a 2in

Im using 350 psi ATM. and 2 jet. 4 flow

up grade will be 2in. 4 jet. 6 flow.


How can I know what psi to run ATM. I don't want to soak. the up grade should be an increase in moisture removal.

It really depends more on how your jets set than anything else. Some guys run PSI at up to 700+ with an 45 degree jet shear. A 2” wand and holed glide will increase CFM and leave the fiber dryer but you still have to make sure your jets don’t penetrate past the base of the fiber into backing and pad. I would test on some carpet scarps then flip them to see if the back is wet.
