Hey ... maybe when the copies get really scarce you can use Ebay to multiply your investment. Better than the stock market!
I've got new training hitting the market before the year's out ... but I really appreciate all who helped make this first venture a hit over the past 4 years. I was the first one to come out with a general industry rug knowledge product, and I really appreciate all who've let me know that I've made them money or saved their a$$ on cleaning tricky rugs.
I also really appreciate Jon-Don for partnering with me on this and the hands-on training workshops I launched before the
IICRC course popped up ... and for supporting a course that could be non-PC, completely practical, and not teaching answers to a certification exam (some that sometimes are incorrect) so we could focus on the reality of knowing rugs and how to make money with them. They took a risk with me, and we had a blast with it, and we've helped a lot of people who were nervous about rugs who are doing it as their main service now.
Thanks John for the post ... it was nice to see you at Connections.

Lisa Wagner
P.S. If you want to attend a kick-butt rug ID course taught by a real rug cleaner (not a wanna-be) - tap into Ellen Amirkhan's certified rug specialist course. That is one of the best courses I've ever been in, and I've been around rugs all my life so it is cool to speak with someone who I can learn from. She teaches for the real rug association - the NIRC division of the Restoration Industry Association (RIA).
