So yesterday after my last job I take everything out of van to clean floor and pressure wash. When I engaged the water pump on the Bluewave I immediately noticed the belt slipped and was not spinning to the CAT pump.......I shut her down, and when I wiggled the loose belt I could feel the whole pump moving!

So, me being the mechanic that I am, I quickly panicked and drove to my local distributor......left her overnight and at 8am today they promptly tore it apart to see what happened. Somehow the CAT pump had sheered off one of the mount bolts and the another one was loose and bent. I have no idea what they did to fix it but 2 hours later I was up and running!!!!!

You'd have been better off driving to Nebraska. Let dirk strap on the tool belt and go though your machine. A win win for you and he.

Is that pump run directly from the front of the engine like the Thermalwave Vortec? With the sepentine belt?

Atleast it wasnt in the middle of a full day..
I recently visited TCS of Atlanta on the fly for quick repair.

Sometimes its faster to drive to the repair than wait on delivery truck at the hoose.

Keep an eye on it awhile when you check oil EVERDAY!
