What are you guys doing to remove water stains flooding from rainwater coming in and not get a call back?

After a carpet dries, usually water stains aren't a problem. Clean as usual, leave very dry, mist with fiber rinse, groom

How bad is the stain? Often it's just a dirt migration line which generally removes with normal cleaning. An actual browned area can be a little more difficult.

We use Prochem's Yellow RX, spray, agitate and clean as usual. It comes right out. If the stain was bad enough we may Post Pad it. Re-spray with Yellow RX and bonnet off. That usually takes care of it.

However I've seen some that when we come back a year, even two the is still a slight stain. Each time surprised that any of it is still visible.

So no absolutes.
