Certainly started to pick up here but nowhere near where we expect to be in another month. Iowa folks are practical and frugal. Many wait because they know we could get a foot of snow in the beginning of May....No way is Saiger in the clear.

The folks on the west side of the country had a nice mild winter due to a huge mass of warm water that didn't cool off as it crept north.. so in turn it screwed the middle and east states of the country. They predict the west coast folks are in for one HOT summer.

Not sure if it is completely over or not but looks pretty good.
3 inches of snow Easter Sunday and flurries last night but...

66 degrees today and 72 tomorrow with tee times set even if I have to play in the mud and snow along the fringe.

My shovels are still leaning against the house, the garage, the shop....

Just so it WON'T snow again!

We have been booked hard for weeks now...which is very unusual....

BUT I am not complaining....well maybe a tiny whining with little sleep...

But I can get over that!

Been working on the shop and the vans yesterday and today....

Just rocking it out! And enjoying the great weather...(Well...a little windy today....continued slight whining...)

But tomorrow....full, full day and tomorrow night....rocking out a big movie theatre with 4 Butlers AND

4 Zippers (15 inchers)!

Let's keep this momentum going....Daddy wants another Zipper! The New style!

My yard will get it's 2nd mowing of the season tomorrow if it's not raining too much.

Every year we talk about the weather...but we can't predict it.

We still have small snow piles in parking lots, no buds on the trees and the annual flowers have not even popped up yet. Last year we had blooming trees last week of March!

Everything is just such a mess right now. Shop, vans, property, house....
Starting to chip away at it.

We've been rolling right up until April. Now its hit and miss, last week was slow but today is nutz here today.

I'll see how this week goes, if its still slow I may do an EDDM just to see what I can pull in next month???

This is hilarious, hired someone to clean up 2 properties.
They made it about halfway and the gas company showed with a backhoe and started digging up the sidewalk/lawn. :dejection:

Been thinking about selling these stoopid things anyway, this might be it for my landlord days.
Was never very good at it, to be honest.

I no longer depend on a local groundhog (Punxsutawney Phil 40 miles away) to tell me how it's gonna be.

Instead I went digital. My proclamation is this. When the indoor temp matches the outside temp, we made it.

In all accordance I declare today is the Official First Day of Springo!

So Phil quit running to your shadow and get CLEANING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Bryan, you keep the temperature in your house at 75.6? Whatcha got going, a green house?!! I keep mine at 70 during the day and 64 at night.

We started a few weeks ago recalling crews from layoff. We still have a few to call back yet but the business is definitely building!! Spring is here for sure!!!!

It was 70 yesterday, 46 today. Business is slow, one or two jobs each day. I might have a whole day off this week. Last week was slow, but then spiked on Friday and Saturday. I had to turn a job away on Saturday. Then I did 2 on Sunday. Where were these people when I was camped out on here with nothing to do?
And it's kinda good I'm slow this week. Computer went out on the van. It will take a couple of days to get another made and flashed. Good thing my local competitor has a back up I can borrow. I gotta get another van.

Actually, we keep it at 70 but it got so warm out today that it elevated the house temp.
