20 some years ago I wrote about a road trip and was complaining about a broken headlight washer. Then wrote, "It could have been worse, I'm not upside down in a river, or even worse, at an IICRC meeting. You're pretty cool about this, so maybe you have a similar perspective.

I have a meeting with the new president and CEO and chairman of the board and both pemberton's tomorrow planned and don't feel an ounce of stress because of it..
I damn near had my ATV sitting on top of me upside down last night in a ravine on the hillside... I really got to remember to hit that 4 by 4 button a little more often

I’ve got a little creek flowing 1/2 way through my property. It’s been raining a lot lately, and the little creek has turned into a raging river....
There has been a lot of debris plugging up the twin culverts that run under the road to my back property/ orchard....
yesterday, I tried to unclog the branches by hand, and came very close to getting sucked in.....
My children and wife witnessed the entire thing, and my oldest daughter said that was the first time she recognized fear in my eyes.....
