I use Camelot Professional version and like it. I think it should be less expensive however.


I also hear many are using a "cracked" version of Cha Ching. They are emailing each other the little piece of software that prevents the trial version from ever expiring... However I bet nobody would ever admit they were using stolen software... lol

P.S. Yes I have the crack, but no I cannot forward it on to you without Steves permission...

Quickbooks for the accounting in conjunction with Quickbooks Customer Manager.

My QB Small Business is ready to be upgraded, I upgrade every second time rather than every time.

Very friendly to use, never could get both my heads around Mind Yer Own Business.

Customer Manager does everything I need without being too top heavy with info.

I only need to put in what I want to.

we use profit-master. i don't recommend it as it is old, expensive, outdated and the worst customer service imaginable.

unfortunatly it is the only software that can effectively manage a rug operation.

QB's for financials. Maximizer for Client Contact Info.

In Feb, 09 I will be upgrading to a BlackBerry which can run a version of Maximizer so I can have and enter all Client info at anytime. I am hoping that I can then hook up Bluetooth to the laptop with Maximizer which then seamlessly imports the client info into QB's- without any additional effort.

Proprietary program written for our business. There were no programs that did what we needed when we needed them, and there still is no software that can do what we need even with tweaks. It's pretty irritating to need code written for every change, and it won't do simple things that every over the counter program does, but it works.

We use Salesforce.com for our commercial customers. Mainly for tracking our marketing efforts to each prospect. Pretty cool. Way more stuff to learn than possible.

I run www.smarttrade.biz for client management/job scheduling and then we run www.myob.co.nz Premier 11 for out accounting side. Smart Trade can run on most WM6.0 enabled PDA's.

Both synch with each other to minimise data entry to a single time.

We are still using CCS Carpet Cleaners Software, Don Holy had Marathon Data systems write this program for him in about 84-5, He tried selling it himself the first few years. About 89 Marathon got it back and started marketing it them selfs. 2000 was their last edition, Now they lease a program to you for so much a month.

We are stuck because we can't transfor our coutomer list and data files to another. Pasquel, said he had a way of doing it but we never did connect
