Worked all day and never touched my wand

drapes
valences
chairs
boat walls and ceilings
boat upholstery 200 foot run down a dock
small carpeted walk ways
reclining chairs
sofas
dining chairs
and a 5th wheel
and a car to boot.

All with a GreenGlided ProChem Upholstery Tool from Pembertons.

Today was a nice change of pace.

The marina manager was impressed and said he could send me lots of business. I said OK but they have to park here to do it. He said no problem.

And I made decent money.

Sounds like you had a good day.

Boats are fun huh?

You can get creative with the up sells too. I clean oxidation off the vinyl seats, polish aluminum parts, detail the outboard motors, and repair/replace carpeting.

I did two today one looks totally different then when they brought it in too me.. I wish I had taken before and after pictures.

Well with luck all furniture did not have removable pillows etc. So it all went pretty quick.

8am ...1st job, less than a mile from house, 2nd job 3 miles, 3rd 2 miles, 4th less than a mile from 3rd and only 2 miles from house.

I think I put about 10 miles on van.

I never take a lunch break.

BTW,, i might not be the best cleaner.. But 3 of todays jobs are many time over repeats, 1 was a new client but a referall from a long time client.

I'm a hack and move fast.

Tomorrow will be a lighter day.. 4 jobs and one in home bid. ( almost never do ) but all jobs are smaller. so a breather compared to today.. 5 for friday.

You guys rock! I made no money today.

7 am, co hosted our monthly chamber networking program, 67 people in attendance. I have done it every month (except when on vacation) for the past 7 years.

Went to a meeting with my accountant. ( who's office is about an hour away) Needed to discuss tax ramifications on selling a four plex. While in that town, worked in a visit with Mom. A son has to so what a son has to do.

Got back in town in time too get the ckecks out of the mail box and to the bank.

Met with my carpenter for some items to do at one of the properties.

Stopped by the office of one the people that came to the networking program, that I had not met before.

Fixed a vacuum at one of our accounts.

dinner

and then relaxed.

and then this.

Took stuff that belonged to my friend to different places. Uniforms back to where he worked, clothes to goodwill, his cat to the humane society (11 years old and wouldn't survive the 1300 mile drive). Got a change of address from the post office. Got more boxes for packing stuff up, and am finishing up the garage here tonight (starting in about midnight when it has cooled off some). Starting in on the storage unit tomorrow (10x15 unit that is 3/4 of the way full of stuff).

Yeah, I was a bit slow today  - Saturday, I started at 9am with a 2 bedroom condo, no furniture moving, hit an apartment block and knocked off 4 empties, did a 2 bedroom townhouse by 1 . 3 more empties, home before 6. All property management companies I've serviced for from 5 to 15 years. Efficiency and organization is the key to higher production rates - I also make sure they vac the snoggers out of it just before I show or there's a $30 housekeeping charge. Also, getting multiple suites in is pure gravy. I did 4 bachelor suites for $280 in one building in 2 hours pull up to pull out,(not Mikey money, but not bad for a POG) but I also use auto f/d and work like a demon. More clean, more bucks and winter's coming - time to fill the silos. !gotcha!

I worked on building an office in our shop all day, cleaned a 18 x 24 area rug that came in to the shop. Kyle had one residential job then joined me, while Shawn did marketing from the home office.
Then went out with my wife to the high stakes bingo at Foxwoods, got in and played 1 card and got a water damage call! Called Kyle to come get me, while I played a couple more cards.
Got to the water damage and the guy only wanted a free estimate for now, it was a pretty big job too, all the popcorn ceilings have to come out. I really dont think we will get it, ! he wants to wait and see what his insurance company says.

Had Kyle bringing me back to the casino....but we got a water damage call in Colchester
It was small but we got it!
