Sounds expensive. No installation kit, no waste tank, no hoses, wand or accessories, no warranty. By the time you add everythiing up, you can probably buy close to new.

I can see a guy just ordering the power unit if he is replacing or upgrading a unit. Maybe he tried to install it in smaller van or something. That would account for the damage he mentions. If you're looking for a side hustle, a legend would be all you need.

Yeah I was thinking Rage 370 or Legend. BUT an Everest would sure be nice too. 😁

Just looking down the road. I'd just give away the profits to my kids. Something to do in my spare time. Something to keep me out of trouble. I have too much time on my hands. 😄

I'd probably just pay cash so I wouldn't have to worry about payments.
Be nice to choose your customers. You dont need the money so much, you can target the jobs you like and afford to say no to the rest. With an attitude like that you can probably build a nice little clientele

If I do it, I could give it or sell it in a few years when I'm bored with it. At this point I'm just thinking out loud. Thanks Ron!

I have a Rage unit for sale that I would love to get out of my way. It’s the one I posted before. It has 126 hrs and works perfect. It has the 90 gallon waste tank, 60 gallon sub mount fresh water tank, fuel pump, etc.. $5000.00😀

When you are sure what you want to do Richard, keep me in the loop. I have a customer who turns over his Everests every two or three years with low "owner operator" hours. I don't take them on trade, I just help him find homes for them.

If the unit listed here is in the condition promised, that's a good deal.

My only worry is that something that sits a long time is sometimes more problematic than something that runs regularly.

If I was looking to just do some easy work to make a few extra dollars, I would focus on high end upholstery. An old decent looking Kleerite 214, a couple of different hand tools and I'd be all set.

I knew you were “mighty” (you tell us all-de-time)

But didn’t know you had mighty small peeder syndrome

A one man part time boutique cleaner that wants a sledgehammer to swat files.... :headscratch:

I've always liked the big machines. It will be hard going back to a lawnmower and now now grass. 😒

I see this a lot.

The guy who turns his Everests rarely runs over 150' of hose, does very little commercial work, and what he does is less soiled than the homes he cleans. He could easily do what he does with a 370 or a Legend.

I tried to talk him into going with at most a 570 next time, but he has his eyes on the Everest 870. We met in 1983, and he's only gone with the biggest.

Plenty of other guys do the same.

It reminds me of a lady I once knew: She was 5'2", lived in the suburbs, and didn't drive much at all.

She drove a Hummer....

I've been at the University for a year in July, so 2 years. I was always extra help for wdr work too. Those big commercial jobs you could be there all day. Often I'd deliver the equipment, unload it and set it up by myself and go back and get another load. Fun stuff!

It was 40 years for the dirt bike. I think my hands still hurt from that.😉

Still just thinking. I could just buy a trailer and a smaller zero turn and cut grass. I'd like that more but schedule wise cleaning would easier to organize.

Who knows I may plan for years and never do anything. lol

Hydramaster makes a good unit but I've been Prochem my whole life. Too late to change me now. 😎
Prochem is GONE! I owned just about every Prochem out there. But going to buy new, I was not about to go with Sapphire so I went with a proven TM - Hydramaster Titan. You can get them new for about the same price as this Everest (which has been on ebay like forever) Get the Titan!
