This is just up the road from me.
Mine is 1850 sqft not including basement just a ranch. Paid 130,000 2 years ago. All new Anderson windows landscaping bathroom. Restored wood floors and new carpet. Moved washer and dryer to main floor. And cleared Veiw of river. New sewer lines soon too lol.

And we are under $100000 on the mortgage!

I can get a couple acres with a 3 bedroom house on the third cleanest river in the us. Salmon, steelhead, and trout fishing. Deer in the yard. And no neighbors in sight. That's the kicker. Even if that house was free I wouldn't live that close to other people and have a HOA tell me what to do.

If you have cash no loan 375 here gets you a pretty lame 1-2bdrm condo on like the 3rd floor with no view, maybe a deck overlooking a parking lot. Basically an apartment that you own.

some of those listings surprised me, why would someone live in the middle of nowhere in the midwest and not have like 40acres. .. I thought that was the whole point of living in the midwest
