I know many plain labeled "store brands" are made by Harvard. They seem to have a full line just like the big boys. So does anybody use them and what do you think?

Yes....we like them. I see Sunbelt is now advertising them in their catalogue.

Quick off the top: Bone Dry encap...use a lot for furniture prespray too, The also have and encap with peroxide, Desolval, Grime Release Pro...

Well...Here is a list we like and other info I have sent when others have asked:

Harvard Soy formulas
Here are the 3 new soy based products from Harvard that my youngest brother really got into working with the Harvard chemist. I will also send along another formula we are really liking based off Harvard products. If you do not have a Harvard distributor in your area, let me know. Myself and my brother are local distributors, but it would make more sense if you could find someone more local as shipping is the downfall.
Harvard website is www.hcronline.com
Soy products:
Here is probably our favorite booster that replaces CTI’s energy. Energy could help, but smelled like diesel fuel to me. This product works and out performs the CTI energy in our opinion and others in our area who have tried it.
G-Force - Booster for Olefin Cleaning

Here is a great low moisture cleaner and also works fantastic as an upholstery prespray. My brother swears by this for encapsulation over all the other products he has tried…and he has tried them all.
Bone Dry - Low Moisture Encapsulating Carpet Cleaner

Here is a great booster and general hard surface cleaner:
Oxy Power Plus GO - 140 - EPA DFE Peroxide Powered Multi-Purpose Cleaner &
Stain Remover

http://www.hcronline.com/assets/green-oxy-power-plus-go-140.pdf
http://www.hcronline.com/assets/tech-green-oxy-power-plus--go-140.pdf
Bone Dry is 90% soy and the rest polymer according to my brother. The G Force is just about 100% soy with some boosters and the Oxypower is 66% soy and 34% peroxide. This is just a brief overview of those products.
A prespray mix we have come up with that we really like is a combination of products with the soy boosters. I has really performed well and there is no resoil.
You will also need some Booster Powder - Oxygen Powered Boosterwhich is a powdered peroxide booster, but this one is very stable and last longer.

Another product we like is Grime Release Pro which is a Harvard version of Ultrapac.
Grime Release Pro™ - Prespray and Traffic Lane Cleaner

http://www.hcronline.com/assets/grime-relese-pro-.pdf
Extreme - High Heat Extraction Powder

Strike Force - Super-Strength Solventized Powder
Pre-Spray & Extraction

http://www.hcronline.com/assets/strike-force.pdf
Here is the entire prespray formula we use and we mix in a Butler 2.5 gallon jug:
  1. 42 oz of Grime Release Pro
  2. Add one gallon of hot water
  3. 5 scoops (I believe they are 2 oz scoops) of powdered peroxide (HarvardBooster)
  4. 6 scoops Extreme & 6 scoops of Strike Force.
  5. 3 cups of G Force Booster (soy product)
  6. Power wash mix the formula in your container until makes the entire 3 gallons
  7. Pour into a Hydro force (we use Multi Sprayer inline sprayers) set at 8:1
  8. Extract with your favorite extraction agent (have not fresh water rinse tested)
My go to extraction agent is Harvard Heavy Duty
Heavy Duty Liquid™ - Industrial Strength Extraction Liquid
http://www.hcronline.com/assets/heavy-duty-liquid-msds.pdf
http://www.hcronline.com/assets/heavy-duty-ext-liquid-.pdf
The other soy base booster (Oxy Power Plus) is really good everyday as a booster as well in other prespray combos we will use. Works really nice as a booster on some tile and grout work too.
Another Great Encap product with a bit more power if needed
Oxy Encap Pro

Green Extractor my Brother uses with a Polymer
Carpet Extraction GC- 155
http://www.hcronline.com/assets/tech-green-carpet-extraction-gc-155.pdf
http://www.hcronline.com/assets/green-carpet-extraction-gc155.pdf
Here is one of our favorite spot removers especially for Gum and Tar.
We on use about 2-4 ounces in a quart spray bottle and the rest water. It is fantastic! You will probably only go through about 2 gallons per year on a van average. It is a delamaine citra solv.
De-Zol-All

http://hcronline.com/assets/dezovall-.pdf

This is the video of our CONCENTRATED prespray we mix up and can carry....meter it at 8:1 rather common....sometimes less....real rat nasties if needs a blast of 4;1....it get's it!

Holy poop, Mark!

That's like 80+ ounces of different products, for three gallons of pre spray.

I use the fiber rinse pro for urine prespray. Alkaline rinse I use Fury.
Grime Release Pro occasionally.

Hard to beat Flex!

Premium Fiber protection also.

We have a rep here so it's quick to pick up for us.

Hey guys....I know this is a bit off the wall and not explained very well....

So my brother and I have been together on the phone this morning so we can give you a cost break down and also, will show you how to mix your typical small batch in a hydroforce/inline or even pump up or battery sprayer here shortly.

The prices we will list are the suggested list prices as per Harvard suggested pricing.

Sorry for just throwing this out there without better explanation....

With all due respect to Mark I was disappointed when I tried them. I'm sure they improved them since and it has been quite a while.

Gene

They have improved, but would agree, there have been some of their products that were not making the grade and where disappointing for us too.

I don't use all their line, but the ones listed have performed very well for us

I used Harvard products for a few years when TCS sold them. They probably STILL sell them, but just went private label. Anyway, they were ok, nothing special. If I lived close to a Harvard distributor I could stand, their local one is a carpet cleaning/"distributor" that is a competitor of mine, I would consider trying them again.

But, it would take something much more special than Harvard to get me away from Cobb.

As quirky as he is ...

I have a coffee mug that was free as a promo back when he started and was visiting the area and use it daily. I waiting for my Cobb coffee mug to compare the difference. Harvard was okay but not well known in this area. Cobb is King for my use. jz.
