Holy crap!!
I left my stair tool behind once on a job. Realized it before I got a block away though...as I was mentally going over the roll up like I always do for some reason lol.

Not gonna lie..there have been a few times of late that I finished getting dressed went out to the garage and realized I wasn't wearing a shirt.

Now that is innovative marketing!

After losing George, weird stuff is going to happen. You'll misplace things, drive to the store instead of to work and so on. It can be maddening, but really, just grin and give your brain time to sort itself out.

Yes....I've noticed that :eekk:
I traded my car in two days ago because it seemed to be on autopilot. Every time I got on the road I would automatically head towards the hospital.
You should've seen me at the dealership lol...it was right after I picked George up. I had him on the passenger seat, in his Chock Full O Nuts can with Georgeisms that his friend wrote on the lid lol...
The guys at the dealership know us well, this is vehicle #12 that we bought from them. They were so sweet and caring. Took really good care of me too!
They gave me a warranty so all I have to do is clean it and gas it! Even brake pads are covered! I got a gorgeous Ford Explorer with all the bells and whistles! It has 89 miles on it and smells like brand new leather! My one splurge...boy is it fun to drive!

The funniest "thing left behind" that I heard of which is a little different than the responses above, was from a Professional cleaner in the UK.

He said that after entering the round-about with his van traveling at approx. 20mph, he forgot to completely close and lock the back door, and his JAGUAR machine rolled out the back door onto the pavement! He said, in a calm manner, that he went back picked it up and went directly to his next job!

Worked perfectly and still using it to this day!

Side note: Glad it wasn't those older fiberglas machines!!!!

I know a Vortex owner who lost all his vac hose on the freeway when his roll top didnt latch..

Our barn doors have swung open so many times now, I've lost count
Benz and Subaru taillights were some of the victims..

I heard in Atlanta of one person who left the rear door open of their truck...and their Zipper wand fell out on the pavement....

They got a call from some local who knew there would be only one person they knew of who would have a tool like that ...

She was pretty happy to get it back...and only thing damaged....was the road!

The new kid has left behind 3 drop cloths, pliers, male to male connector and who knows what else. he lost his drivers license about 2 months ago. he'd lose his head if it wasn't screwed on. he can only remember to close his door about half the time. pulled him from driving last week because he took out a mailbox driving forward. he has already wrecked 2 vehicles , one maybe totaled . Lucky his and his girlfriends. sorry venting. what was this thread about?
