What is the difference between these to blower sizes..

I have 2 blowers,

one is a 4 mf sutorbuilt w/ 14 hg

the other is 4LL w/12 hg

I noticed the 4LL is a bigger blower by a few inches..

Which one is the blowers has the best suction.

The 45 will, with the horsepower you listed. A 47 requires more horsepower at a given RPM.

The 47 has quite a bit more CFM. (Just under 200 CFM more.)

They both have the same input power capability.

This is some side-by-side blower testing we did at Nick's Bar B Q:

Here is the graph of the results with 100' of 2" Vac Hose w/ 14" Bentley wand & GreenGlide:

We normalized the #33 blower @ 100% for the comparison.
The #36 blower came in @ 124%.
The #47 blower came in @ 155%.
The #45 blower came in @ 173%.

Lift is how much force the blower can move air with.

CFM is how much volume it can move.

I wouldnt want to try and power the 47 with the engine you have. I'm using a 24 hp Honda and it is at the top of its output to turn a 47 blower and a pump.

I agree.. I am using the 21 hp for the 45 and just going to get a 23-24 hp for the 47..

If possible, I would go a little larger than 24 hp. I also would not get the Honda, their hp rating is questionable on this size engine.

I've said for years ...a 45 is the "ideal" blower for single wand slide-in TM
47 and larger are needed on direct drive TMs because they typically don't drive them at capacity .
"big" slide-ins typically don't drive blowers to capacity either
the only virtue to under driving an over capacity blower is some noise reduction
