All the negetive talk about GM and new machines made me decided to repair/ rebuild my current TM.
In this rebuild my two main sticking points were that i wasnt going to hire the local inexperienced tech and I couldn't remove the unit from the van due to lack of work space and renting a fork lift is expensive.
I had to cut the exterior blower housing to remove the blower. The housing was too long to be rotated ff the blower. I made an hoist frame inside the van out of suppies I had on hand. It took extra time but made the job safer and near effort less.
I' having to redesign the blower housing and that' why I need the part above. It's tac welded and figure its easier to buy new then muscle the old one off.
