It's unfortunate that you couldn't see it when you were done to keep it from being your problem. All anyone can do now is guess.
  1. Could be tip blooming from over-pressure or color loss from using an oxy-booster. Could be your fault.
  2. Could be the last guy and it was hidden by soiling.
  3. Could be tip blooming from the customer using a Dyson. Could be color loss from home cleaning, and that residue might be why the carpet was so dirty.
  4. Might just need steaming and setting the pile all one way to fix. Good luck.

Here’s a night shot she just took. She’s being really nice, I just hate this though. 4B9443D1-A7E9-469B-8FBD-FE4179A71D70.jpeg

If it was from the oxy boost, would it be in rows like it is?

Not likely, unless you clean by starting at one end of the room and making one big pass at a time.
(Seem to remember a video of someone here that cleaned that way.)

the lines look to straight and long to be from a wand, except maybe a Bonzer or Zipper. You would need to have a very straight long stroke from wall to wall to get that pattern.

I said............ask her if she used a rug doctor or home machine. And used something with optical brightners. USE A BLACK LIGHT TO PROVE IT'S HER FAULT. IT WILL GLOW!

But maybe that crap from that bonnet guy did it.

I get lines sometimes and have to clean in the other direction too but those lines are way to long to be wand related. Start with releasit and bonnet, than RE, Then walk away.

Hey Matt, post a pic of your wand strokes. I promise it will be fun. I’ll get the ball rolling. Here is a typical room that I cleaned. Your turn.

That looks absolutely horrendous. You should go up and down over the same area leaving no saw teeth. The carpets will be drier too, not that it matters where you live.
