What is this?

Picked up this rug today because customer said it was getting this stuff put of it and it causing her chikd allergy issues.
What is it and how do I remedy it?
I got this pike from vacuuming with a shark in two directions.

Flip it onto its face, and vacuum really slowly both directions with the brush roll engaged. Then carefully peel it back, and sweep up the dust/dirt.
Flip it back over so it’s right side up, vacuum the face slowly both directions again….

I do that to the rugs at this daycare center and I swear I could get a full kid's sandbox out of all the vacuuming I do

The smaller pile came out of a 3x4 lol.
I guess this is what happens when you don't vacuum.
Nothing came through the rug. I flipped them and the otger side was clean on both of them.
