what is your idea of the ideal counter top?

I have concrete now and enjoy the rustic look but hate how cautious we have to be with avoiding etching.

I like the look of flamed granite but the porosity is a big concern.

Corian, Silestone , Quartz and others are getting harder and harder to tell from real stone, especially the marble lookalikes.

I'm not sure what I'll get " next time"..

I love my granite. Golden jupurana. its been 5 years and its almost time for Rob's Stone Pro refresher. Granites much easier to repair than engineered. Stone if it ever needs it
