Strategizing.
It used to be figuring how to process dozens of calls when area wide flooding. Or setting up drying chambers on large dry downs. Figuring out how best to processing air on mold remediation projects.
Now, it's how get events set, often multiple events a day, such as today. We had a health career fair in our large ballroom and had to flip it mid day to a talent show for the evening.
I find the most challenging aspects are dealing with our audiovisual systems. When something is going wrong and you have 300 sets of eyes on you. Maintaining a clear head to figure out what went wrong and why.
Troubleshooting whether its a Zoom settings, a laptop issue, our house system, a bad HDMI, XLR or Ethernet cable or wall plate and what I can do correct the issue.
Change a setting, use a different source, wall plate, cable, restart the system at the rack, change laptops or iPad. Never fun at the time but once everything is corrected and event comes off smoothly I feel a sense of accomplishment.
