Hello. I have a carbon fiber Mytee 4 jet carbon fiber 12" wand. Just trying to figure out what size jets I should use with it. My truck is a Steamway Mastermatic 4100. Any suggestions?

We run 11002 for an 8 flow. Works great.
That is what I was thinking, but the spray pattern is too wide - it's sprays out past the edges of the wand.

Can someone explain flow to me? I mean I understand how you get it and the numbers and everything, but how do you know what flow you should go for (6, 8, etc.)?

if they are still on the wand get out your reading glasses and tell us what numbers are on the tip of the jets (should be the same on all of them)

If you have a kero burner I would think 8 flow would be fine. If jets are spraying outside of the wand you may need to go with less of a fan pattern on the outside jets, look at #'s on outside jets I would think you need 95's you may have 110's

Can he get some 1/2 WP check valves and possibly lower the jets, this must be the wand that had the kinda odd jet manifolds?

Your flow has to be balanced by your vacuum capabilty. Your machine is using a #3 blower that produces 270 cfm at 14 inches hg. In my opinion anything over a 6 flow, you risk overwetting the carpets.

Just turn down your pressure and observe the improvement.

If you still have overspray, twist the end jet ever so slightly so that the outside edge moves down and inside the edges of the vacuum path.

The correct jet size will depend on how mytee built the mana fold in the 1st place-- mytee substitutes parts at its whim.
The stock jets and configuration left streaks in the carpet because the jet were too close to the carpet. With some effort I was able to change the configuration that raised the jets and seems to work ok-- but too soon to tell.
Removing the shim and adding a glide also helped.-- try this before changing the brass.
The photo shows the change.
