Well tell us how good you are on the phone and how great your reputation is.

Better yet tell us how you get the booking (and can Ron Werner and Harper use the same lines to pick up the ladies).

Don't really have to close them.

I just say "While we are on the phone when can I help you out?"

Most rarely even want a price.


It's too easy!

i chose th 50 percent, but that is not right i usaully close 85 - 100 percent as most the calls are po's for companies we have contracts with.

Really. I have no web site, my listings on the internet are all forked up because of Rainbow International usurping the Rainbow names across the country, but customers find me and call and I'm booked solid for two weeks out normally. A lot of times, if they can't get me, they just don't have it done. I'm just one little guy. I can't serve everyone in the market.

About 95%. I only hear about it when a call isn't closed. 3-5% are price shoppers and we don't really push the issue.

95% here but I just think that proves my prices are too low.. :oops: I think if I was around 75-80% I would be where I would like to be as far as price and jobs booked.

Well I still havn't convinced people to pay to talk to me yet. I answered 50% only because I feel thats the number I land from random people calling me out of the damn yellow pages. This doesn't include repeat work or referal work that is guarnteed.
