For those of you who've figured it out what % of your job is chem cost?

3%?
4%?
5%?

All chems almost 6% of gross.

You have to break out protectors and some other "oversprays" to get a useful figure. If you sell a lot of protector your chemical percentage goes up, but profit goes up more.

Profit is more important right?

All spotters and detergents = under 4% usually. Our goal is to sell protector to at least 1/3 of our production.
